BRACES: Leather, silk, rayon or elastic. Leather lasts longer, polished and
professional look. Braces available for professional, business casual and casual. Will button into slacks only! Pages: 40-43, 53-54, 78, 99-100, 121, 137 









MEN'S LAPEL: Shawl, peak or notch. Notch used mostly for professional and business casual suits, sport coats, and blazers. Peak and shawl sometimes used as an alternative; notch has a cut-in 90 degree angle, peak extends out further to a point and shawl has no cut and it is rounded. Pages: 48-49, 52, 116-117, 136







MEN'S FLAT FRONT SLACKS: No pleats! Flat in front, most common model with 1 1/2" waistband, belt loops and side pockets with a slight angle called 1/8 top pockets. Page: 98-99, 118









MEN'S PLEATED SLACKS: Can have 1 or 2 tucks under waistband called reverse pleats; made so pleats face out to the front pockets; has a slenderizing appearance. Forward pleats are another style that face towards the zipper; when a man has a full appearing abdomen can appear full in front. Better to go with the reverse pleat slack model. Pages 98-99, 118







TOP SHOE: A balmoral closed toe cap, cap toe shoe. The laces are enclosed where the lacing starts and the end is closed, not open. The shoe is made with a cap over the front. BOTTOM SHOE: Has an open toe cap toe; it is not enclosed and is called a blucher. The bal will be tighter and the blutcher will be more of an even and comfortable fit. MEN'S THREE BUTTON JACKET: You will find this model on a tailored matched suit, blazer or sport coat. Example will be a notch lapel, welt breast pocket, lower pockets with a pipe (thin horizontal welt on top of the flap) and flap. Coat can be a center, side or non-vent in back of coat. Page: 48








MEN'S TUXEDO JACKET: This model is a notch satin lapel, besom pocket (no flap) double piping, 1 button closure, and center or non-vented back of coat. Pages: 135-139









MEN'S TWO BUTTON JACKET: This model is a notch lapel, welt breast pocket, 2-button closure, and center, side or non-vented back of coat. Page: 48











CREW NECK: Has a thin band and sits at the base of the neck. Pages: 64, 86, 87, 95, 97, 105, 107, 147
MOCK NECK: Has a thicker band and comes up just below the adams apple. Pages: 77, 87, 94, 96, 97, 106, 107
V-NECK: Has a "V" cut and not too deep an opening around the neck. Pages: 87, 88, 97, 106, 107
